Our Story

We love watches. We love fashion. What we didn’t love was the space in between.

So-called “fashion watches” often felt disposable—overdesigned, underbuilt, and disconnected from what people really want to wear. They're made strictly for malls and airport stands. Meanwhile, as much as we love traditional watchmaking, it is heavily focused on heritage and complications, which comes at a price.

Törner Labs was founded to do things differently. We reclaim the idea of the fashion watch as something intentional rather than an insult: design-led, art-informed, and fun—without sacrificing craftsmanship or accessibility—as at the end of the day, a watch is an accessory. Our inspiration comes as much from galleries, runways, and pop culture as it does from watchmaking itself.

We’re not driven by legacy for legacy’s sake, or by achieving engineering wonders. We’re driven by curiosity, aesthetics, and the belief that an affordable watch can still be unique, playful, and well-made.

We don’t take ourselves too seriously—and we don’t think our watches should either.

Intentionality

You can’t make every component the most expensive version possible and remain accessible—so we don’t try to. Instead, we test extensively to understand where quality actually matters and where it doesn’t. That process allows us to invest deliberately in the elements that define the experience we intend to design. Don't get us wrong —we use high-quality materials, just intentionally.

Our Name

You may see our name written as Törner in some places and Toorner in others. This is intentional.

Our founder’s last name, Turner, evolved over generations, gradually losing its European roots. In tribute to that heritage, we chose the original form—Törner—as our official brand name.

The letter “Ö” is pronounced “oo.” Because non-English characters aren’t supported across all digital platforms, we use Toorner for our URL and social handles, while Törner remains the true expression of the brand.

We have one name, and both spellings ensure it's pronounced the way it's meant to be.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Sizing work?

For steel bracelet watches, we send the watch fitted to a big wrist, so that everyone can size it to fit them.

To remove links, there are two options:

  1. Any watch/jewelry store can size a watch for very cheap (sometimes even free!).
  2. Link removal tools can be purchased online for a few dollars, and the process is super simple

For rubber/leather strap watches, we ensure the strap is made in a size that fits all wrists..
are the watches pre-made?

Yes. We care greatly about fast delivery and quality control, thus we won't sell you products that we don't have yet and haven't passed our inspection.
are there restocks on sold out item?

Sometimes. We do our best to ensure that our customers are able to enjoy our products, but as our production is limited and demand is high, sometimes our watches sell out.

When that happens, we can't really guarantee when and if there will be a restock, as we operate on a tight release schedule.

What is the return policy?

We ship fast. If your order was placed on a business day before 1 pm EST, it will likely be dispatched the same day; otherwise, it will ship the next business day.
